Dr. Anil Makkar
Dentist
Graduated from Dalhousie Dental School in 1989. His roots are mainly from Truro, Nova Scotia, a town that he loves, and always had a goal to establish one of the most highly advanced dental practices in his town. Dentistry is his passion and that led him in 2003 to master the understanding and mechanics of occlusion( the bite) and treatment of TMJ disorders. This journey led him to being taught by some of the best instructors in the world , and has had the opportunity to treat some of the well-known professional athletes and celebrities of North America.
He has been a mentor to numerous dentists and auxiliary team members of dentistry, and enjoys every aspect that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Roger Daya
Dentist
Dr. Daya has been with Victoria Court Dental since 1999. He has been taught by one of the best orthodontics instructors in North America, Dr. Brock Rondeau. Dr. Rondeau’s philosophy is “ Beautiful Smiles, Straight Teeth, Healthy Jaw Joints.” Dr. Daya has adapted this philosophy to his practice, and has combined modern day dental technology to the diagnosis and treatment of his patients. He uses digital impressions, which is developed by i-tero , so it becomes a relaxing procedure for his orthodontic clients. According to the Invisalign( the no braces technology) website, he is the only Preferred Provider in Truro, Nova Scotia. He has also expanded his skills and knowledge to the area of sleep apnea and disorders. He has taught at Dalhousie Dental School, and also enjoys all aspects of Dentistry, including Family and Cosmetics.
Dr. Ronald Rix
Dentist
He graduated from Dalhousie University in 1994, and then did a one year hospital Dentistry Program at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He spent 3 years as an instructor in the pediatric program at Dalhousie Dental School, and was also an instructor for the Dental Hygiene Program.
He has been practicing Dentistry in Truro for the past 17 years, and enjoys all aspects of Family Dentistry, and is recently providing dental implants for his patients.
